Kapamilya Singers Shine in the 3rd PMPC Star Awards for Music

Kapamilya artists received the most number of recognitions in the recently concluded Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) Music Awards held Sunday night, October 16, at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater of the Ateneo de Manila University.

Star Power champ Angeline Quinto won the New Female Recording Artist of the Year award and the Song of the Year award for her song "Patuloy ang Pangarap."

Pop Star Princess Sarah Geronimo won the Female Recording Artist of the Year award. On the other hand, the Male Recording Artist of the Year award was given to Jed Madela who also won the Revival Album of the Year award.

Piolo Pascual won the Male Pop Artist of the Year award while his Decades 2 album was awarded with Pop Album of the Year and the Album Cover Design of the Year award.

This year's Female Pop Artist of the Year award was handed to Toni Gonzaga.

Other awards given to Kapamilya are Dance Album of the Year for Showtime (The Album), Alternative Album of the Year for RPG Metanoia, Female Star of the Night for Nikki Gil and Female Face of the Night for Toni Gonzaga.
