Ali Peek of PBA Talk ‘N Text Team Almost Killed in a Shooting Incident
Ali Peek, star player of PBA team Talk ‘N Text, was a victim of a shooting incident by an unidentified assailant last night, November 7, at around 7:30 p.m.
Peek came from a plyometric training session at the RFM Gymnasium in Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong when the suspect opened fire at him at the parking lot. Initial police reports describe the incident as a “robbery-shooting”.
Peek is reportedly now in stable condition, despite the bullet remains lodged in his neck.
This morning, Mandaluyong police released a composite sketch of the gunman following a P500,000 reward given by Talk ‘N Text team owner Manuel V. Pangilinan for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Witnesses described the suspect as chinito, standing 5’5″ to 5’6″ of medium build, about 32 to 36 years old.
